Vai al sito della rivista The Journal was founded in Bologna in 2022, to mark the 500th anniversary of Ulisse Aldrovandi’s birth, to celebrate a polymath who investigated all aspects of the natural world and established one of the earliest natural history museums in Europe. In this spirit, scientific institutions and collections are a special focus for the Journal. The global scope of Aldrovandi’s study inspired the Journal to include studies without chronological, linguistic, or geographical limitations.
