Enrivonmental law in action EU and China perspectives
di Marina Timoteo
This book, which contains the results of a research made within the EU-China cooperation project “China-Europe School of Law”, reconstructs some fundamental paths of the evolution of environmental law in Europe and China, placing them in a comparative and internationalist perspective. Following the recent developments that see European Union and China as two of the protagonists of the process of building environmental laws at the global level, the first part of the book deals with the regulatory framework of environmental law in a global perspective: here the issues of legal harmonization and legal cooperation in a market-oriented perspective, both at regional and international level, is addressed. The legal comparative approach, in its many articulations, is the perspective on which the second part of the book is oriented. Here we find several contributions on the more recent evolution
