The volume deals with the theme of the birth and evolution of mixed brick and reinforced concrete floors in Italy in the first half of the twentieth century, through a documentary survey conducted on archive sources. The address follows the profile followed by recent contributions in the field of Construction History, providing unprecedented interpretative keys aimed at returning an updated picture of the technical culture of the period.
